My name is Lana and I am a Pastry Chef and a Cake Decorator. After working my way up the professional ladder and around the world, I married a Czechman and decided to settle in Prague. Beautiful as it is, life in Prague could be a bit sweeter, and this is how Lanka Cakes came to life. I hope my little company, well equipped with American optimism, Russian sense of humour, Israeli chutzpa, English fairness and Czech patience, will do well.
I keep my kitchen free from:
  • additives
  • artificial ingredients
  • modified starches
  • hydrolysed fats
  • bad quality chocolate
  • stale ideas
Everything is done freshly from scratch, by hand, in small batches - the way baking was meant to be. I am sure you can tell the difference.
